This test is not performed by Beaumont Laboratory. If the patient arrives at a Beaumont Laboratory Patient Service Center with a Prometheus-Anser^® requisition, the Laboratory will provide phlebotomy services, processing of the specimen, and shipping only. Prometheus-Anser^® form(s) must be filled out by the ordering physician. Prometheus will bill the patient's insurance and/or patient for this testing independent of Beaumont Laboratory. The patient may be responsible for all or a portion of the Prometheus charge. Results will be sent by Prometheus to the ordering physician only. Contact Prometheus directly for result inquiries at 888-423-5227.

NOTE: Sample may be kept at room temperature or refrigerated.
