Collect: Amniotic fluid from 14-18 week gestational period

Also Acceptable: Amniotic fluid from 14-21 week gestational period

Send specimen for processing immediately after collection.

Maintain fluid specimen refrigerated (2-8°C or 36-46°F) prior to transport.

Preparation for Courier Transport

Transport: 1.0 mL fluid, refrigerated (2-8°C or 36-46°F). (Minimum: 0.3mL)

Specimens not collected and processed as indicated.

In-Lab Processing
