Screen results available in 2-4 days.
Confirmation available in 2-5 days.

Reference Range

Test Methodology

Qualitative Enzyme Linked Immunosorbent Assay/Quantitative Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry/Quantitative Liquid Chromatography-Tandem Mass Spectrometry.

Clinical Utility

Many patients in renal failure cannot produce urine in sufficient amounts to permit a conventional Comprehensive Drug Analysis. An alternative is to perform a screening procedure on serum. Please note that urine provides the greatest opportunity to detect and identify an illicit substance and use of this blood screening procedure for other than Pre-Transplant patients is forbidden. This is a sendout test and immediate results are not obtainable. This test is not available on a STAT basis.
