Multiplex Flow Assay.

Interpretation

SCL-70 antibody is seen in 20-60% of scleroderma cases. The presence of SCL-70 antibodies is considered diagnostic for scleroderma if it is the only ENA antibody present. Scl-70 is also seen in approximately 25% of progressive systemic sclerosis (PSS) cases.

Clinical Utility

SCL-70 antibody assay aids in the diagnosis of scleroderma and progressive systemic sclerosis (PSS).
