Beaumont announces 2016 Pathology Seminar for Sept. 10
– Dermatopathology: Know
Your Limits

An internationally renowned panel of physicians will lead the Second Beaumont Pathology Seminar, Dermatopathology: Know Your Limits.

The 2016 educational and networking event takes place on Saturday, Sept. 10 at the Troy Marriott in Troy, Michigan.

The symposium provides significant opportunities for professional education, networking and resource building. You should strongly consider attending if you are a community Pathologist, Dermatopathologist, Oncologist, Hematologist, Primary Care/Internal Medicine Physician, Resident or Fellow.

Objectives

All physicians and health care professionals are invited. This year's seminar is focused on Dermatopathology, geared toward both clinicians and pathologists. The seminar objectives are:

1. To review and use histopathologic criteria that aid in discriminating between select challenging cutanous lesions.
2. To review and recognize atypical melanocytic proliferations and develop a diagnostic approach to difficult pigmented lesions.
3. To recognize clinical and histopathologic findings in panniculitis and vasculitis, develop an appropriate differential diagnostic approach, and apply diagnostic criteria in the evaluation of select entities.
4. To review clinical and histopathologic features of select cutaneous infections and infestations, and recognize key findings in the diagnosis of infectious processes in the skin.

Accreditation and Credit

William Beaumont Hospital is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

The symposium takes place on Saturday, Sept. 10, 2016.  The registration fee includes continental breakfast, lunch, breaks and CME/MOC credits:

M.D./D.O./Ph.D.:
 $125 (Early Bird Rate) or $150 (Regular Rate).
Fellows/Residents: $75 (Early Bird Rate) or $100 (Regular Rate).

Early Bird Rate: Register on or before Aug. 9, 2016.
Regular Rate: Aug. 10, 2016 or after.

Refunds, less a $25 processing fee, will be honored on or before Aug. 31, 2016. No refund will be issued after that date. To cancel your registration, please send an email to CME@beaumont.org and include "Conference Cancellation" in the subject line.
